So let us try to understand why the sky appears blue to us.
As we know there is an atmosphere above our earth, this atmosphere consists of many types of gas dust particles and water vapor. The rays emanating from the sun are made up of a mixture of seven colors, which we call them by the name of VIBGYOR for easy recall. V means purple, I mean indigo, B means blue, Y means yellow, O means orange and R means red. When the sun's rays hit our atmosphere, then they are divided into these seven colors because the bluest light is scattered in the atmosphere, so we see the sky blue. This is a very simple example of science that helps us understand why our sky is blue.
Now perhaps this question is also coming in your mind that if this is the case then why do we see the sky black in space. Friends, you can also answer this easily because there is no atmosphere of any kind in the space, so the rays of the sun are not divided into different colors there, so in the space we see the sky black.
