A research paper presented by a team of astronomers has caused panic due to alien or alien.
Hold on! Hold on! Do not jump! There is no mention of the word alien in this paper, nor is that paper indirectly giving any hint towards alien. But astronomers have found a star that is strange, its behavior so strange that it is difficult to interpret it. Something is different in this star. Some astronomers who participated in this work are thinking that perhaps they have found signs of Alien civilization and this strange behavior may be due to an evolved alien civilization.
But there is no need to get so excited over this, it is just a concept, the possibility of it being verified is still far away but social networks and some media institutions have made it sensational news. The scientists involved in this campaign are still skeptical, they are just saying that this can happen and not like this.
Both possibilities will open new doors in terms of science.
This star is KIC 8462852, one of the millions of stars monitored by NASA's Kepler campaign. The Kepler Space Observatory senses the lack of light in these stars while observing them. If there is a slight decrease in the light of a star, there can be many reasons for it. The most prominent among these reasons is the presence of one or more planets near that star whose orbit is between the Earth and that star. When a planet passes in front of its maternal star, that planet reduces the light of that star lightly, the Kepler Observatory captures this reduction in light. The decrease in the light of a star is reduced by one percent due to this transition from a planet in front of its star.
Till now thousands of solar outer planets have been discovered by this method. Generally, the time period of the planets of their maternal stars is fixed, due to which the decrease in the light of these stars is also visible after a certain interval, this interval can be a few days, weeks, months or even years. This interval depends on the size of the orbit of that planet.
KIC 8462852 The star is larger than the Sun, warmer and more brilliant. It is about 1,500 light-years away from Earth, this distance is a bit more and it is difficult to see this star with naked eyes. The data from the Kepler Space Observatory derived from this star is bizarre. There has been a decrease in the light of this star, but its interval is not regular. The amount of reduction in light is also high, once the light was reduced by fifteen percent and once by 22 percent.
It simply means that this time we have not discovered any planet. Jupiter-sized planets can also withhold only one percent of their maternal stars. A planet larger than Jupiter is not possible. Even if the mass of the planet is large, the size will remain the same, only the density will increase. This reduction cannot happen with any other star as we would have seen such a star. If there was a decrease in light due to any planet or star, it would have happened at a regular interval, while this deficiency is not even at regular intervals. Whoever is blocking the light of this star is a giant, about half the size of this star!
The lack of light in this star has been seen hundreds of times since the arrival of Kepler's data. There is no regularity in the interval of deficiency coming to light, the deficiency is happening in an uncertain quantity, at an uncertain interval. The behavior of this deficiency is also strange. There is asymmetry in the graph of the lack of light coming from a planet to its maternal star; Light is slow at first, slows down in the same amount for a short interval and returns to its old age. [See picture of the transition method above.] KIC 8462852 This is not seen in the 800-day data of starlight inspection, the light gradually decreases and suddenly increases in intensity. The main light coming in the 1500th daylight The deficiency article has a series of many minor shortcomings. Apart from this, there is a deficiency in the light of this star every 20 days for a few weeks, after some time this deficiency disappears. Overall, there is no continuity in the deficiency in this light. It is like irregular infections and is bizarre.
The authors of this paper have tried their best to eliminate the common causes/errors of this behavior. This strange behavior is not due to an error in the analysis of binoculars or data. This behavior is also not due to tarakalanka (like solar stigma but on other stars). It was previously thought that this strange behavior can be caused by debris and dust after the planetary collision, due to which such reduction in light can be seen. [Earth's moon originated from one such planetary collision.]
But there is also a problem in this concept that this debris and dust cloud should be shown as infrared light. The dust produced in such planetary collisions is heated by the energy of the star and glows in the infrared rays. We know how much-infrared light the stars like KIC 8462852 emit, there is no additional amount of infrared light in the light of KIC 8462852 i.e. there is no such debris.
The last synonym by astronomers was the rotation of stars by a series of comets. These comets can get clouded by gas and dust and can cause a decrease in light. But these comets should also produce infrared light, which is not there. If another star passes near KIC 8462852, it can transmit comets towards KIC 8462852 due to its gravity from the Oort cloud of KIC 8462852, showing such irregular reduction in light. It is believed that around every star there is a giant cloud of ice objects at a distance of Arbo km which is called the Oort cloud.
Incidentally, KIC 8462852 has a small red Dwarf star at a distance of 130 billion km. This star is capable of affecting the Oort cloud. But the story does not end, even a series of comets or comets cannot reduce the light of any star by 22 percent. The amount of this decrease is not too much.
So what option is left now?
The lead author of this paper, Tabetha Boyajian, showed these data to astronomer Jason Wright, who discovered the solar outer planets. Incidentally, Jessan Wright has also worked on finding traces of extraterrestrial civilizations developed in the Kepler data.If we look at our own civilization, our energy consumption is constantly increasing. We are engaged in searching for huge and huge sources of energy, fossils, nuclei, the solar, wind, etc. A few decades ago physicist Freeman Dyson introduced a new concept for the supply of energy. According to this, if we put several giant kilometers large orbital solar panels in orbit around the Sun, then they can convert solar light into energy and beam it to Earth. Want more energy, make more solar panels and put them into orbit. A highly developed civilization can make billions and billions of solar panels into orbit stars.
The concept was named Dyson Sphere, a giant ball that would completely cover a star. This concept was in the news in the 1970s and 80s, an episode of the science fiction series Star Trek was also based on it. Dyson had never talked of making a whole circle, according to him, and there was a matter of making a lot of solar panels which looked like a giant circle covering the star.
This concept can definitely be helpful in examining the developed alien civilization. Such a Dyson ball will remain black in visible light but will shine in infrared light. People tried to find such shells but did not succeed.
Let us now return to KIC 8462852. Have we caught the signs of a developed alien civilization? Have they made Dyson balls around their mother stars? Such a strange reduction in the light of this star is possible due to the installation of giant solar panels around the number of hundreds in the number of arbors.
Now some of you will support this idea, some will protest. But scientists are still skeptical.
It is an amazing discovery, but I find it encouraging. Zeshan Wright is a professional astronomer, he is not as avid as the specimen expert with Enchant Alien. According to him, work is needed in this direction keeping a skeptical view.
The possibility of building such a large Dyson shell by a highly developed civilization is unlikely but not impossible. An attempt can be made to confirm this. Even if we cannot find any alien civilization around this star then our efforts will not be in vain as we will come to know a new mystery of the universe, why this star has such strange behavior. In both the possibilities we have to get, there is nothing to lose.
Some scientists have presented some research papers on the methods of discovery of developed civilizations and this is not science, but pure science. They have researched what the physics of these giant structures will be and how they can be seen. Jessen Right and Boyajian proposed that their radio telescope be focused on KIC 8462852 and attempt to capture its radio signals. The radio signals generated by a civilization capable of constructing such huge structures must be captured 1500 light-years away. The SETI (SETI Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) project is also aimed at this.
The existence of any such civilization is far-fetched. But efforts should be made towards its discovery, for this, there is no need to spend more than a billion-dollar. Such campaigns are already underway, they just have to focus on this star. In this direction, a lot can be achieved with little effort. Investigation of radio signals of this star can be helpful in solving this mystery.
KIC 8462852 The star may or may not exist of a highly developed civilization that built such a massive structure for its energy, but the fact is that it is a strange star and further research is needed.
