When you are observing the night sky, it is possible that you ignore this star Kepler 62. It is a simple star, some smaller, some colder, some darker yellow than the Sun, trillion stars like this star in our galaxy. But this star is hiding a surprise in itself. There are five planets orbiting it, out of which two are in the shape of the Earth, and they are in the possibility of a life of their star.

Both the planets Kepler 62e and Kepler 62f are larger than the Earth but not much, they are 1.6 and 1.4 times larger than the diameter of the Earth respectively. The Kepler 62e orbiter is 122 days tomorrow while the Kepler 62f orbiter is 257 days because it is outward.

According to the size and temperature of the mother star, both the planets are in a habitable area of water on their surface. But it depends on many more factors which we do not know, for example, the mass, structure, presence, and composition of planets, etc. It may be that Kepler 62e's air system is made up of carbon dioxide, which is as hot as Venus and is unlikely to be in the liquid state of water.

But according to our knowledge till now, the chances of these planets having rocky and liquid water are high.

These planets have been discovered from the transition method. In this method, the Kepler satellite keeps staring at 150,000 stars in space. If a planet orbiting its maternal star passes through Kepler and its maternal star, it places an infection or eclipse on its maternal star. This reduces light in the light of the maternal star. The size of the planet can be known by the amount of light and the size of the star.

For this reason, it is difficult to find planets of the size of the Earth, because they are able to stop only 0.01% of the light of their maternal star. But at the time of Kepler's construction, these things were taken care of so that he could check even such a small deficiency in the light. Kepler has discovered many small planets so far.

The second problem is that the stars should be inspected at the right time. The planet of the life-worthy region of the maternal star revolves in months or years, due to which it transmits the maternal star in months, years, multiple confirmations are required for the confirmation of a planet. All of these take time, but Kepler has been watching these stars for years, so we are now getting results fast.
